Logos Youth Ministry The LOGOS Ministry was founded in 1957 and is operated by GenOn Ministries. Bethel has utilized the LOGOS program for more than 20 years!
LOGOS means “The Word” and this ministry is theology (Word) in practice. LOGOS helps churches like Bethel bring the Word to youth.

Frequently Asked Questions Can my friend who is not a member of Bethel still join LOGOS? Yes. The program is open to all children in our community. Why do we have LOGOS on a school night when there are so many other competing activities like homework, sports, etc.? There is definite value in mid-week religious education. It helps teach that religion should be part of daily activities; not reserved just for Sunday. Additionally, families should think of LOGOS like any other activity that we make time to actively participate in. If our schedule does not allow for attendance of the whole program each night or each week, can my child still participate? Remember that LOGOS is a balanced approach which seeks to nurture the whole person in the context of a caring Christian community. To that end, your child can gain the most if they attend the entire program. However, we do understand the demands of extra-curricular activities so we welcome your child at any time during the evening. Please try to attend as often as possible. Is attendance at church on Sunday a mandatory part of LOGOS? Sunday worship experiences is not mandatory but is a huge part of your child’s growing faith foundation. On Sundays, they can actively participate in the ideas they are learning in LOGOS.
