for youth in Kindergarten through 12th grade
LOGOS is the fun, mid-week youth ministry program which aims to nurture young people into faith and discipleship through Christian relationships.
LOGOS meets on Wednesdays (5:30-6:30 p.m. for grades K, 1, and 2 and 5:30-7:30 p.m. for grades 3-8 and 6-7:30 p.m. for grades 9-12) for 20 weeks each school year. We begin in September and end just before Easter.
LOGOS is all about building relationships and remembering that every person is a Child of God!
The LOGOS ministry was founded in 1957 and Bethel has participated for over 20 years. The Greek word, LOGOS, means "the Word" and this ministry aims to bring the Word of God to our youth.
The Format for LOGOS includes:
Recreation-large group activities and games to experience great fun at the expense of no one else.
Family Time-the dinner meal shared family style where conversation, manners and relationships are emphasized.
Bible Study-small groups arranged by grade level to study the scripture and apply it to daily living
Worship Arts-large group activities to learn and practice the various ways we can serve God through worship
Children who plan to attend must register and pay the yearly participation fee.
High School/Middle School Kick Off Night and Parent Meeting 6:00 pm at Bethel.
We will start the LOGOs year off on September 18th at 5:30 pm.
LOGOS is a volunteer dependent program and we utilize church congregation and community members to staff our positions. Parents are also a key component to our success and we require minimal parental commitment. Please see the volunteer link for more information.
