Bethel Bunch is a gathering for all adult individuals and/or couples. The premise of Bethel Bunch is to gather for food, conversation, and laughter. Our gatherings always include these three essentials.
Bethel Bunch does not have any set meeting time or dates. We try to meet 5 to 6 times a year depending on the activities or who is hosting. Some of the fun things we have done in the past is a Missouri River float trip, wine and cheese party, Chinese New Year celebrations (this is usually an annual event in January or February), Christmas caroling for shut-ins, Progressive dinners, gathering food for FISH or the Middle School Food Cupboards, and soup suppers. Truly the options for Bethel Bunch are endless depending on the host and hostess. We also try to lift up by attendance or prayer other Bethel or community functions. We annually host a weekday lenten Soup Supper, attend Family Promise fundraisers, and the annual FISH dinner provided by Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
Our last gathering was held at Ron and Dew Elkins and was a potluck picnic to enjoy the view from their marvelous deck atop airport hill this past summer. No set date has been set for our next Bethel gathering but we will shoot for late September or October and any suggestions for a reason to eat, converse, and laugh are welcome. Since gathering dates are random it is essential that you check the church bulletin, newsletter or get on the email list for all Bethel Bunch notifications.
